It looks like only $8,000 in housing stimulus is going to be signed into place.  That’s only $500 more than what it was a year ago.  Woopdy Doo!  And, it’s not even for EVERYONE who wants to buy a home, it’s still ONLY for first time home buyers.  Guess it’s better than a spit in the eye, but not by much, I mean what kind of housing stimulus is this really?  The only good thing is that a 1st time home buyer doesn’t have to pay this one back.  This is gonna stimulate nothing … thanks a million, Congress! 

If you’d put $800 billion in the housing industry, guess what?  We wouldn’t be in a recession.  The economy would be on track.  So, you might think I’m a little prejudice considering what I do for a living, but my heart is soaked with sorrow for all the people who are in financial trouble right now … and by the way, it’s not b/c of me.  I always erred on the conservative side when I was representing buyers during the boom of 2004-2005. 

By the way, if you are in financial serious trouble, I do have many connections & can help you out of some trouble before you get in too deep.  Call me & I’ll educate you on the differences between short sales, foreclosures, REOs, bankruptcy, etc. and I’ll let you know which one is the likely to negatively affect your credit.
